Nigger, have you ever touched a Glock trigger in your entire life? They're notorious for being one of the heaviest, longest, shittiest triggers on a striker-fired pistol. If you are a masochist, there are even OEM parts/configurations available to make the trigger pull even more awful (plus connector, NY trigger spring, etc.)

>and no real safety
The vast majority of striker fired pistols (read: the most common kind of handgun in use by far) use the exact same kind of safety mechanisms as a Glock, and many of them have lighter triggers with less pre-travel than a Glock (and several have pre-cocked strikers to boot).

>I don't know the details but I guarantee it was a glock.
Wow, that was a really relevant and damning anecdote on Glocks.

If you want to make the case that striker-fired pistols as a whole are generally less safe, then whatever--but I think it's nonsense to imply that Glocks are uniquely unsafe. And, again, in the context of the thread's discussion--the pistol Glock submitted to the MHS trials *had a manual safety*.
