Ratchet 1 hasn't aged at all. People keep bitching about the lack of strafe but all strafing did was turn the combat into mindless strafe-jump spam for the rest of the series. In 1 thanks to the limited mobility you have to bring the right weapon for the job. And of course people who try using the Blaster all game end up eating shit. No other game in the series has you consider your arsenal like that beyond "what haven't I leveled up yet"?
