Back in D1 we used to do a lot of "shoot a nigga for 10 hours to kill them", thing was that was back in year 1 when we had pisspoor loot and were low level doing Nightfalls, and those were limited to being done once a week per character so no one gave that much of a shit. Spending 45 minutes at the end of Winter's Run either hiding under the platform by the cliff or in the crevice where you entered plinking away at the Archon Priest wasn't that much of a big deal when it was still about 5% of the time you were going to spend in total playing the game that week.
