Aegon is the least shitty major character on this show right now from a storytelling perspective, he's one of the only characters that actually feels like a real character with human reactions to things instead of an NPC stuck in a plot-mandated dialogue loop. when he gets up and decides to go into battle alone despite it being a terrible idea, it feels like such a breath of fresh air compared to how almost every other character is just stuck doing nothing. his reaction to losing a child was also literally the only believable reaction to losing a child in the entire show so far.

if you think the way Rhaenyra was written in s2 was acceptable then you're one of those twitter retards too. she was great in early S1 and had promise at the start of S2 but she's been lobotomized in order to drag out the story and neutered heavily. where is the "war in her eyes" from the end of the S1 finale? hope you clapped when she started making out with Mysaria or said what would you have me do for the 8th time in a row even though her advisors are begging her to do something already
