FO1>FO4 (modded)>FO:NV>FO2>FO3>FO4 (vanilla)
I don't care about RPGs. Fallout 1 is barely a RPG. It's awesome because it's not a RPG. It's an adventure game.
I couldn't care less about meme playthroughs like 1INT or how you could whore out characters in FO2. I couldn't care less that Jet is a post-war drug or that NV NPCs grow their food. People who use terms like "canon" repulse me.
I care about gameplay, exploration and atmosphere more than writing. I don't care about your take that Fallout should be post-post-apocalyptic and how society reconstructs itself.
Fallout 4 has fantastic level design, exploration freedom and environmental storytelling. Mods fix atmosphere and gameplay into excellence.
I don't care about Fallout. I don't respect Fallout. I care about STALKER, a vastly superior game, the only reason I play Fallout games is to scratch the STALKER itch. I want to kill bandits and steal their loot and scavenge to survive in a gritty miserable apocalyptic scenario.
