Altering the GPU's power & voltage limits through hardware modifications is an XOC.
And you're grossly overstating the benefits of those mods when 9070 owners just need to flash a compatible 9070XT vBIOS and manually tune the V/F in Adrenaline to get most of the gains (153 FPS vBIOS flash vs. 165 FPS HW modded).
Buildzoid also acknowledges that those extra FPS could be attributed to his better OC'd CPU & memory setup compared to Dave's.
