It's possible but everything seem to imply that Yoru can materialize herself in Devil Form if something happen to Asa. We just saw Fire Devil do it, and Yoru did claim that she can give Asa her body back once her quest is over.
Asa has to defeat Yoru in some way in order to weaponize her.
