The asian semiconductor industry acts like a monopoly, setting ever higher prices because they know people and companies will continue to buy their semiconductors.
People should have stopped buying at these high prices but people, especially Americans, are addicted to new technology. The best thing is for tariffs on asian semiconductors to go to 300% or higher so that the Americans stop buying which will end the revenue stream for the ultra-greedy asian semiconductor industry.
Then, in the void created by the high tariffs, American and European semiconductor companies will emerge, adding to the competition in the semiconductor industry, breaking the asian monopoly, which will ultimately bring prices back to within reason.
