Well it's a linear dungeon crawler that doesn't even want to have a lot of open loop. Unlike every other Zelda, there isn't even an overworld connecting dungeon areas. This bothered me a lot back then but after Zelda becoming open-world slop I learned to appreciate SS a lot more. There is a lot of good gameplay, level design and art in it.
