it makes sense in that you are fighting to keep your position in class 6, you didn't earn it if the people below you are close to you. the class 5 people proved they can outperform other class 5s, you proved you can't compete among the class 6s.

you can't really compare the best demoted 6s to the worst promoted 5s either. there are lots of 5s scoring 500K+ and those are the ones replacing the 6s getting demoted at 460k.

t. 520k class 4. if you're not even getting 460k in class 6, you should be in class 4 frankly.
