Has it ever been explained how some of the fossils turned extinct? I'm having a hard time believing that mons like Aerodactyl and Tyrantrum got outcompeted to extinction. Even Archeops with Defeatist would still be a powerhouse in the wild, ambushing prey with it's 140 attack, 112 spattack and 110 speed.
