yeah i get that, i should've specified that it should be an optional toggle with no additional rewards. i'm not a fan of challenge maps being separate because if i want to experience the story i still have to auto through like 12 levels that pose no challenge to even the worst team comp
also the much bigger issue for new accounts is that most of the new events make no fucking sense unless you've played the older events which no longer exist in the game, and there's no way of telling which events are filler and which are plot-critical. granted they did recently readd sojourners which is a good start but why the fuck are they dripfeeding content that's required to understand the main story?
