i'm not even against censorship, even though the term sounds negative. Ofcom SHOULD serve some purpose: even if it's as straightforward as "what's allowed on telly". we can debate and moan, but something as simple as "don't have loads of swearing before the watershed"? no issue there.
but it's not even a slippery slope any more, is it? this actual law and its real-world implementation is just daft. really comes off like some old men just got a briefing about "the internet" and what them 4chan lads are doing, and they've concluded it shall be banned for the sake of the kiddies.
