By said logic Stolas wouldn't take him as an apprentice, I think Paimon would make an exception if he proves himself. His standards are also probably lower considering the disappointment Stolas turned out to be, maybe adding a human and making him a fledgeling Goetia who can marry his daughter would be easier than trying to get rid of him to force another arranged marriage that he'd probably know went south by now.
