1 and 2 got Switch 1 ports a while ago, they run great and the physical version has both games on the cart uncensored too btw but don't tell Nintendo. The main draw is that these are the latest versions of the game, Embracer Group shut down Piranha Bytes before they could add all of the new changes to the PC versions which includes Gothic 1 having Gothic 2's item menus, NPC-related AI bug fixes across the board, new animations, modern controls for modern controllers (including Switch-exclusive motion controls), etc. There's too many to list, you have to read it on the website.
