So I got my switch 2, play some mario kart from time to time and mostly play Rune Factory 4 special.

I wouldn't say every one of them, just the ones Nintendo looks at as actually high value. So games like DK Bananza and the Kirby game are "just" going to be $70. Metroid Prime 4 I'm not sure. That one COULD pull a TotK and be $70 on Switch 1 which would allow it to be $80 on Switch 2, but I think it'll "just" be $70 on Switch 2 (and $60) on Switch 1. I'd bank on the next 3D Mario, 3D Zelda, Splatoon and Animal Crossing to all be at least $80. Maybe $90 for the next Zelda. My favorite new feature that I just discovered is being able to copy your screenshots and videos from the Switch 2 over to the PC using a USB cable. Even better because now they actually have all of the files sorted by game. On Switch 1 you had to take out the sd card and plug it into the computer using a card reader, and then all of the files were sorted by individual year folders broken up into month subfolders further broken up into individual day subfolders. It was annoying as shit, I'm glad Nintendo changed this.

Oh, I still think Nintendo's pricing is abhorrent. Mario Kart World is not worth $80 even if some of the others are $70 (which I personally don't see any of them worth that either). The problem is how rarely Nintendo games go on sale and, if they DO go on sale it's for maybe $5 dollars off or some miniscule amount. Even if the game is years old. So while I don't think it makes any sense to think all Nintendo Switch 2 games from Nintendo are going to be $80, their games are still too much money and as the years pass with their games not dropping in price, that will continue to become more and more of a problem. The day GTA VI goes on sale fro $99 to $70 making it less expensive than literally Mario Kart World and the next 3D Zelda is going to be the most sad but unintentionally hilarious things I'll witness.

The reason I don't think Metroid Prime 4 is going to be $80 is because, if we're being honest, there's no real longevity with the game. It's a single player experience, still technically made for Switch 1 and likely won't be talked about much outside of the Metroid community after a few days. There won't be many efforts to keep Metroid "alive" with DLC and microtransactions, it's not a top tier franchise (like you mentioned) and it's really sort of a "we need to just put this out there and complete the project" kind of thing. Now, if they were building Metroid Prime 4 exclusively for Switch 2, it would have been $80 I think. Metroid Prime 4 HAS to come out this year. They said 2025 and it needs to be 2025. The best shot Metroid Prime 4 has at capitalizing on sales is right not since there is no real competition for it on the Switch 2. Metroid fans are patient, but if stuff like Federation Force is anything to go by, you better not piss them off. Which is also why Prime 4 needs to not just be "good' but it needs to be "worth the wait good". The Metroid fans will undoubtedly tear it to shreds if they waited years and years for the game and it's just a pretty good Metroid Prime game that still isn't as good as either the first or second game (or third game if that's one of your favorite ones). It needs to be either the best one in the series or the second best. That comes with waiting for 7 years for a game you were told was on the way long ago.

Went on a tangent. Maybe they're waiting to do a Metroid Prime direct or something where they shadow drop Prime 2 and Prime 3 remasters and announce Prime 4 for October or November, but I do think the sooner they announce the date the better.
