That’s why you need to bring up the fact that this tactic has already been used against the purchase of firearms and other forms of personal expression/consumer freedom outside of porn games. The goal of the opposition is to reduce the issue and make it seem like it’s just a bunch of weird nerds getting uppity that their spank bank got fucked with, rather than a concentrated attack on fundamental democratic rights.
The unfortunate part of these kinds of situations is that winning takes coercion and speaking to congressional reps like the toddlers they are. Use buzzwords like Israel and 4th amendment, they’ll listen
