I like American Dragon but Jake's rogues gallery pale in comparison to contemporaries like Ben and Danny's partially for reasons listed above.
For example compare how all three shows handled circus freaks as antagonists and you could easily see Jake's show's interpretation being the weakest one of the bunch.
