you know, there's a lot of hate people direct towards undertale that's just pointless seething, but the soundfont thing is an actual legitimate criticism that confuses me. because it's pretty clear that legally speaking, using soundfonts is not allowed, unless you actually got the sound from its original source instead of from the game. but Toby did the latter. basically illegal. and YET his game even came as far as being featured in the super smash bros ultimate ost, owned by the company who owns the ips whose soundfonts he stole. what gives??
