How are the boons for my Alice? Can boons even be seen on this screen?

I ran into a gigga goblin on the first floor and it was one-shotting anything he hit (sometimes did a sweep). For the second kind of enemy that's rough. I'm not sure what to expect going forward.

The point was made clear that I should not try to revive under 50 fort. I went to the church and revived already but they didn't mention this nuance at all. Does this ever get mentioned or is it just trial an error? If it is, it's not the 80s anymore and I'd feel sorry for the players losing legos to it.
