I'm a diehard Turtle faggot but upon completing G1 only a couple years ago I'd say overall it has the highest quality of all the 80's toy franchise cartoons for (occasional) serious subject matter (and the movie), actual worldbuilding lore some episodes (generally season 2 and 3) and a great introduction to epic scale sci-fi for a kid that was fairly unique. Would anyone honestly dispute that Optimus isn't superior to all four turtles?
