Scythe in Ryzeal is very much a win-more card. It's only good when you:
>are against a deck that loses to it admittedly this is most decks
>go first
>resolve your combo
>and also have additional resources left to search it/hard draw it
>and also your opponent doesn't Slayer your Deadnamer away
I don't think people would've played it for long in MD. Same way DPE+Scythe wasn't terrorizing the MD meta the way it ruined months of the game for people in TCG, or how nobody was bothering with the Halq into Wonder Magician pop Scythe play before that.
