So finally after a few weeks, the svideo connector replacement has arrived, i bought a few different ones, but the others required making a new hole on the chasis and i was trying to find a drop in replacement, which seems to be this one.

Trinitron 29fs310 with broken svideo input bu the way, next step opening the back, desoldering the old broken plug, run wires from the PCB to the new connector and mount it, hopefully it actually fits the hole without any cuts.
Have one question... does Luma and Chroma REQUIRE their own separate grounds? or can i just bridge both grounds and run a single wire to the PCB ?if i run join both Y / C grounds, will i get static or any video noise at all?

the less wires i have to sodler the easiest the job would be, im not taking the PCB put of the chasis i will solder it mounted with the help of a mirror.
