Humanity already adapted to the lament, it's just the new laws of physics. If there are no threnodians and TDs humanity will probably be better off than in the regular physics due to reality warping technology basically being easily available. Though humanity probably just reinvents threnodians with all that potential.

I'm fine with force of nature being one of the main conflict though, I don't need everything being humanoid beings (but in the end a gacha sells humanoid beings as product so it might be inevitable).
