Villains finally manipulating the WoL would be a welcome change. Maybe they could pretend to be good and betray us at the last second, or subtly guide the WoL on the path they want. Calyx's "master plan" clearly showed we've become too powerful to be dealt with in a combat way; at this point we're probably the strongest being on the star. And I'm not talking about physical strength only, but also connections, that Azem-innate ability to form long-lasting friendships and always have powerful friends and allies at your beck and call. The only one who canonically was able to kill us once and for all was Varis in that alternate timeline, and he had to unleash the gas equivalent of an atomic bomb to do it.
