I was NEET for 4 years until I went to a psychiatrist and learned I had untreated ADHD. I got prescribed Adderall and it's insane how much it helps with focusing on boring shit.

I would spend like 16 hours a day gaming and doing nothing else, got prescribed Adderall and it cured me within a month, ended up applying for community college and now I'm taking classes.

Not being able to focus on anything that isn't hyper dopamine stimulation like video games and anime is 100% a sign of ADHD, it's called hyperfocus, so many of these NEETs just need the right meds like Adderall.
