It's not particularly useful for all sorts of reasons. It's still a good way to learn how to move around and to use your character attacks. Past that, you want real players. CPUs are actually very predictable.
If you ever feel anxious about playing PvP, just ask for games here. We can teach you stuff and guide you. Although, you'd ideally want players of your level.
