I assume asking on /v/ will get me a better answer then anywhere else. Ok so the federation doesnt use money right? So how do you get things that cant be replicated? I think of 3 things here mainly. First are historical items, like say I want an old vase from some retarded ancient empire how would I get one? Next is land, I know theres now practically infinite due to space but like Picard got his vinyard how does that work? Finally things that cant be replicated. Im aware some things cant be replicated so how do you get them? And I know im gonna get dumb answers but im asking this seriously. My brother is a retarded trekie and he always dodges this question. I actually collect antiques so im curious how once would collect them in the federation. Im also not trying to shit on star trek this is legit curiosity.
