one time when i was on a cruise I witnessed a guy propose to a girl at the captains dinner. there were at least 100 people in view and everyone got quiet and many people took out their phones and started to record
the girl took the ring, said nothing, and looked down at the table while the guy went from down on his knee to seated
this was day 3 of a 7 day cruise
i still think about it frequently
