I don’t actually know, this is the thing I’ve always been confused by with chapter 2, and with chapter 5 supposedly having Flower King or the festival itself as the dark world I would figure that the Thorn Ring has to do with it instead, but it appears in chapter 2 in the computer lab for some reason, did Asgore bring it in somehow? As if he dropped a thorn when searching the computer lab? Could explain why a “large person” could fit inside the server closet, maybe Asgore’s been checking out the scenes prior?
