NTA but if you go college of swords...you can basically do anything and play any role. In-combat melee frontliner, backline utility spellcaster, buffer/debuffer. Out-combat ideal talker and skill-monkey and some of the best unique dialogues in the game.
The class just OOZES mc energy and Larian knew what they were doing here. Supreme flexibility.
