Still, people tend to want to know where their favorite lands or where the character they want to roll for lands in terms of usefulness. And most people would take a fake tierlist or a bad tierlist over a "bro b urself haha just roll whatever" because the fake tierlist is at least giving them some info vs the guy that refuses to tell them anything and acts like they just told someone the truth of the universe.
It's why sites like Prydwen get popular despite everyone agreeing they're dogshit or tend to be wrong, some guidance or something to follow is much better than going at it blindly.
Could organize characters into like "Useful", "Recommended", "Good for PVP", "Good Parent", "Good for Races", "Only if you like them" or stuff like that for a broad strokes guide. In the end, people want information and will jump at whatever or whoever gives it to them.
