Yeah, I have no idea why they hate colors so much. And it's a worldwide phenomenon. They're all dressed in black, grey, or white. Maybe navy blue if they're feeling bold that day. And it's always sweatpants, hoodies and plain t-shirts.
In the previous decades it would have been almost impossible to find two people in a high school wearing the same clothes. There would always be something different. A different pattern on button up or polo shirt, different graphic prints on t-shirts (that came in pretty much every color and shade), patches/embroideries, fade patterns and distressing on jeans, etc.
