i'm sure they exist, but the US is such a big place that they're too small and insignificant to ruin our reputation in any meaningful way there, at least compared to other types of organized crime in the states.

i remember Dubai being the "dream" place everyone here would talk about moving to when i was a kid. maybe i'm just being paranoid, but the Arab countries seem scary because they seem like the kinds of places where you make one single mistake and they'll give you the death penalty without a second thought.

i remember seeing those clips of South African refugees entering the US and it made me feel so jealous kek. if only i lived in Ukraine, i could've been a war refugee, but instead i have to deal with all the consequences of the war: worse economy, less resources, poorer quality of life by the day, without the benefit of being a refugee.
