It's a game where the goal is to make friendships.
It has proximity voice chat or speech bubbles and you start off in a lobby, very similar to PSO.
You cannot join the lobby with any friends because the goal is to make new acquaintances through a shared connection.
Players create their character and select a few predetermined interests, hobbies etc. Players who share the same interests are then connected randomly to a lobby instance when they're ready.
Once the lobby has reached a certain amount of players (say 20), a voice comes on in the intercom... "the world is ending" and you will have to find a partner to work together, survive and escape. Sort of like in phys.ed. or Squid game, you go talk to another player and see if they want to team up. If the countdown ends and you couldn't get a buddy, the game assigns the players automatically and then sends everyone out into the world.
There is more to this game idea, but I'll keep the rest secret for now.
