Napalm basebombing is the real best it can do right now. But for example i would never use a jet to basebomb, so you should play based on the BR of the match.
If you are in a downtier, go at 5km altitude (under contrail) and spot the enemy contrails. Usually there are always J-7D ready to eat one of your radar missles and some cocky F-5. After depleting your SARH, you have your 4xR-60. Those are extremly flare hungry, so you need to use them only in ambushes, find the furball or nigger dogfighting and drop on them hoping to score some hits with those.

In uptier, you must stay low and find target of opportunities that MUST have the sky as their background.
Even if you use the manual sweep for the wings, don't dogfight ANYTHING. There's literally nothing you can dogfight as for now, not even a F-111 Aardvark. Don't bother with the gunpod, your 23mm might hit hard but has the shittiest ballistics of all the jet guns.
