Lots of little things adding up

>Made Tina the writers pet much like how Simpsons writers did for Lisa
>Made Teddy a bit too much like Bill from KotH
>Losing Bob's rival, Jimmy Pesto
>plots that don't really go anywhere, (Bob needs to get a needle put in him, he doesn't like needles, he winces the whole time, it's done)

But the thing I think caused most of this to happen was the show leaning heavy on those 'sentimental' moments. The focus on Regular-Sized Rudy and his 'touching' relationship with this divorced dad is the biggest cowbell, early Bob's Burgers would have mocked this show for leaning so hard on the sweetness factor.
