I played aw2 twice
its mostly noteworthy for its cinematic direction, like the environments are sometime awe inspiring. Its the most cohesive visual look I've seen in a game and its worth experiencing for that alone, on a 5090 with path tracing. Good cast of characters.
The gameplay is a bit like witcher 3, it fits the fantasy but you dont go into it for the sake of shooting some more of the respawning enemies but since its paced so well it doesnt get tedious.
SH 2 RM had worse combat due to worse pacing. The enemies get tedious and its a bit like grinding through chopping a forest of trees to get to the berries. Meanwhile the visuals : fog
People complaining about somehow who looks like saga anderson being in a game are angry about something else and pretend the game did something wrong when all the individual aspects of it make perfect sense.
