Damn, I was hoping these would be actually interesting. Clearly just made for limited and commander, you'll never have a reason to station, at sorcery speed nonetheless, in any format that ends in a single-digit amount of turns.
The ONLY reason you would want to station something outside those circumstances is if you're constantly warping creatures, presumably as WotC intended the mechanic to function (also works for crew I guess). If you warp the eldrazi and then blink it, you could technically crew it immediately, but that's effectively a 3-card combo that you can only do turn 4 in modern and turn 5 in standard, and that's assuming your opponent doesn't blow up your eldrazi before you get those 7 cards. Maybe it'll be okay in a control deck, but I just don't see standard being that slow once this set enters the format.
