It's crazy how they had a perfectly good story with Jedi Outcast and they decided to just wing it instead. You had the force sensitive smuggler who is afraid of his power, you had a pupil of Luke who runs away because he had become disillusioned with the Lukes order, and you had the Imperial Remnants who still control certain sections of the galaxy but are slowly falling apart and are turning to cult magic in a desperate bid to retake the galaxy. It would have been kino. But Kathleen actually said that "they had nothing to work with". Actually insane how incompetent Disney has been with this franchise.
