Can someone please explain monarchism to me? It sounds a bit silly in my head. Wouldn't a dictatorship or a single party government be more efficient than an endogamic family rulling over the nation? Because the argument I ever heard coming from monarchists is that with kings, you can train them since birth to rule a nation. And yeah, that's true, maybe you will get one or two good kings in a row, followed by ten nefarious kings who will only fuck the country up. If you like authoritarian governments I believe a technocracy or a single party government would be more efficient than a monarchy.
