They're very clearly bullshitting based off of the Ghost of Yotei and Marathon comments. Horizon games almost instantly go on sale and Lego Horizon Adventures flopped right out of the gate going on sale extremely quickly. I just managed to get it and HZD Remastered for $30 each just a few weeks ago when HZDR came out less than a year ago and LHA came out a couple months after it. HFW was $40 after about three months and then the Complete Edition was about $40 after four months.
Whenever they talk about Horizon they want to tout the numbers to argue there's a fanbase but said fanbase didn't show up for HFW or LHA, and HZDR was met with almost no reception. It's the Avatar of Sony; it makes millions of sales but no one talks about it like a fan.
