I experimented with that a few years ago. Basically i made the ai portrait myself and to maintain the style of different expressions i edited it myself in Photoshop, just used liquiefy and painted over to get different expressions. +Faceapp for the toothy smile. I think honestly I could use the same process but without an ai generated picture but rather one i paint myself and it would be the same and no one could complain about it
