I really like the Kershaw AM-4. I've re-bought it several times due to losing them on bike trips or from falling out of my pocket. Very thin and light (carbon scales) but still cheap, under $40 USD
A lot of the commonly recommended knives have blades so thick you can't even cut an apple with them, this one has a nice thin blade that is useful for cutting everyday things with. Just don't use it as a screwdriver
