Yep, They invaded most all online forums like this and AR-15.com to spread lies about someone they knew had been killed. Of course, nobody provided any evidence but only relied on the emotional impact of dead child to sway belief. Those that demanded evidence of a dead body or even a picture of a dead child was quickly set upon by several posters calling them ghouls and ensuring nobody would make a request like that again.
My guess it was coordinated by high ranking members of government agencies that work to achieve directives to sway opinion online. This seems small but can affect legislation in Washington D.C.
