It's weird, because on a conceptual level I'm ready to accept this idea, but something just feels wrong about it. It makes sense because he's a powerful wizard, but the way they did it feels incredibly faggy to me. In contrast, I kind of liked what Touhou manga (please forgive me for troonhou as an example) did with Okina, who's basically a lazy bastard god. It doesn't really feel forced, because the character was already sitting half the time. Moreover, she's apparently supposed to also be a god for the disabled in Shinto, so it fits her character. She can stand up if she wants to, but she'd rather laze around, and it also symbolizes the people she blesses. It also looks kinda aesthetic. Meanwhile, Khadgar's wheelchair has neither style nor any substance. It is an entirely subjective opinion, but I can't help but think it feels stupid and it bothers me to no end.
