The first game sold well because it was like 2 bucks on Steam for the majority of its existence, and it's an 8 year old game. Its actual pace of sales is much slower than KCD2's pace of sales, KCD2 took like a week to pass a million while KCD1 needed way longer. Once KCD2 starts selling for 2 bucks on Steam, it'll start selling like hotcakes because that's what happened with the first game.
