I agree with most of your takes here, I think the movies weakest point was the last 10 or so minutes. There was little character payoff for the bad girls and the hard cut to the funeral was well executed and really funny but obviously also a catch-all time-saving choice in the screenplay because they had to keep it under 2 hours due to little kids having tiny bladders and not being able to handle a 2 hour+ movie properly.
