Sure, I can agree with that. I would like to see bigger changes in this too. We still have 3.5 years to go, so hopefully Trump gets to it? Maybe write to your congressman and ask about it?

To be fair, a lot of that “research” was just as bullshit as the shill studies. Any time you throw massive amounts of government money at a problem you get lots and lots of fraud and grift.
Maybe what we could both agree is important is accountability and funding meaningful studies that advance the US’s technological edge, whether that be in the private or public sector?
