>As far as badguy groups, I think INTI was most attached to EDEN, considering they get very flattering and humanizing portrayals in the sidestories, have the best chemistry between one another, and the most elaborate backstories. Even Elise, despite being sympathetic, had a bitchy side in her side story (she secretly wanted to dominate and torment others to get back at the world). It makes sense in a way, as several of those characters were originally meant to be GV's friends, but were recycled into enemies with plot changes. Can you imagine how it must have felt to be one of the character designers and writers, and seeing your cool OC turned into an enemy that GV guns down? GV2 was also the one that got mild complaints from the staff over being too depressing.

Checks out. The interview where some INTI staff said they didn't actually like killing off cool and likable characters was released after GV2. Eden does feel like a bunch of OCs. I feel like Gunvolt would do better with a larger core cast of reoccurring characters, sort of like the Resistance and Guardians from MMZ.
